Our Pastors

Loving Shepherd has been faithfully served by two pastors since North Trinity and St. John's amalgamated in 2001:  Pastor Thomas Fischer and Pastor David Seager served from the amalgamation until Pastor Seager's retirement at the end of 2011.  Pastor Paul White accepted a call to serve as Associate Pastor in November 2011 and was installed on December 4, 2011.  Pastor Fischer and Pastor White share duties and responsibilities at the church by leading members in bible study during the Adult Bible Class and making calls on the shut-ins, elderly and gravely ill members of the congregation.  Pastor Fischer also leads the Adult Instructional Class on Tuesday evenings. Check out our Photo Gallery for pictures from the installation service.

Pastor Fischer graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, Wisconsin in 1977 and received a call to serve North Trinity in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, now Loving Shepherd.  Pastor Fischer has faithfully served the congregation for over 33 years.  Pastor Fischer's passion, besides serving his Lord and the congregation, is to stay abreast on the latest technology, including assisting in the development of the church website.  Pastor Fischer is married with two adult children and one grandchild.

Pastor Paul White graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in 1996 and, prior to accepting the call to Loving Shepherd in November 2011, served congregations in Florence, Wisconsin and Colome, South Dakota.  Pastor White has been married to April for 18 years and have four children - ages 14, 12, 10 and 8.  Though born and raised in Wisconsin, Pastor White is a Dallas Cowboys fan and has convinced his wife and children to also follow the Cowboys.  In future calls, we may have include the prerequisite of being a Green Bay Packer fan :-).  Pastor White enjoys golf, watching TV and movies and playing on the computer.
